we have many many many more pictures of our summer that i need to upload but i wanted to share something recent for a change. over the weekend we had an opportunity to go to Seattle. eric was presenting a paper at an education conference and i got to tag along. it was a quick, but wonderful trip full of very grey weather and cool temperatures - two things we miss here in austin. we also had the chance to take the ferry to bainbridge island to visit some wonderful family. it was such a great trip but i am already looking forward to when we can visit again!

I hadn't realized we had these pictures so I am sorry that I lied about the other post being the last on Hawaii.
These aren't the fanciest but I love them.
I had never snorkeled before this trip and it quickly became my most favorite thing.
