We were warned that Italians were fashionable. But I never expected to be constantly swooning over fabulously tan men in tailored sport coats and gleaming leather shoes.
And what's more - they never seemed to sweat. I was as close to naked as I could legally get and I was sweating buckets! These men were wearing several layers on top and pulled it off with a regal coolness.
And the women! I couldn't find any pictures of the type of women I swooned over. But they were always meticulously dressed, equally cool as the men and always on vespas with giant high heels. I can't even walk in high heels.
