I once told eric that if I could have one wish (and of course I was financially secure, my family was healthy and I had already been to trapeze school) it would be to have dinner with Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter, and Johnny Depp. Could you imagine a greater group for truly great dinner conversation?! A couple of weeks ago by dream came true. Or at least it would have if I had had an extra $1,500 to spend.
The MOMA is currently running a retrospective on Tim Burton and on opening night they had a benefit dinner with Tim Burton and his macabre sidekicks. Obviously, we did not go. But we did the second best thing and see the retrospective despite crowds that put the lines at Space Mountain to shame.
