The Book Nook

Eric spent all of last weekend (in an attempt to procrastinate the impending weeks of writing) putting up new bookcases in our loft. I love it. I love it a lot. But Eric has since taken it over with his research, laptops and diet Dr. Pepper cans. Maybe I can have the space back come January when finals are officially over until May. 

We tried for days to come up with a creative name for the newly cleaned out, organized space.... but we tried in vain. All we could come up with is "book nook." Feel free to suggest an alternative.

The weekend.. or most of it anyway

 

Our weekend was pretty darn awesome and rather productive if I do say so myself. Eric had a big paper to write so instead he tackled a home improvement project! (I can't complain on that one) He turned our loft space into my "book nook." Its a pretty great place for a cozy indoor picnic.

We also got more lovely veggies in the lastest CSA box. If you are in Austin and haven't checked out Johnson's Backyard, I highly highly recommend it. 

I gave a talk on Sunday. Scary but had so much fun researching. 

I also finally planted our strawberries. I love austin. Planting strawberries in November. Awesome. 

We watched lots of Battlestar Galactica. Or "The BG" as we now call it. 

And what weekend is complete without french toast....?
