Florence

Thanks to a lovely house swap, we stayed right there. Not far at all from the city center.

We just had to cross the bridge

THE Duomo. It was so much more colorful than I imagined.

Of course, Eric wanted to climb the tallest tower in Florence

It did have a pretty good view I guess

Eric thanked me for my patience by finding me some food

And some serious gelato. We did some serious gelato research. The #1 in Florence - Grom. (Luckily there is 1 in the U.S. - 40 blocks from our apartment!)




Yo Bird - get off my head



In Florence we were super lazy. One day we slept and watched Lord of the Rings all day. So we spent several hours after dark strolling around.



As fabulous as the gelato was -I don't think anything can beat Cherry Garcia!
