My favorite science experiment of the year so far has been dissecting owl pellets. I love to see what tiny animals (and sometimes not so tiny at all) have been eaten by our feathered friends. But I also have a sick love to see 8th graders squirm and squeal. Owl Pellets stink. And they are full of this gritty fur and dirt mixture... they really are pretty gross.
But this girl totally makes dissecting owl pellets look adorable and even a little pretty...
I can assure you that ours were not as neat looking....
