Last weekend we spent the afternoon in the Lady Bird Wildflower Park since it is free for the month of January. Isn't Lady Bird such a wonderful nickname for a lady who loved nature and the outdoors?
The park is really lovely even when there isn't an wildflowers in bloom. I feel like Texas landscape is so different from anything I have ever known before. Every time we go out it is a new exploration. Like who knew there were so many kinds of cactus!
We'll definitely be going back even when it costs money!

Thank you so much! We have a Nikon D60. Even though we have owned it for years I am just now opening up the owners manual and trying to practice.
